About me

Okay, a little background. Writing has been a passion since way back when, but my writing skills were fine-tuned during my time at Sony where I spent nearly six years. As well as many other things I was responsible for producing brochures, newsletters, press releases and online content, including being part of the team that set up Sony's first website. It was at Sony, with some of the best in the business as mentors, that I learnt about brand - the power of a brand and the importance of the brand voice.

Since cutting my teeth at Sony I've been a Multimedia Producer working with clients such as Telstra, Pfizer and Kia; was Retail Marketing Manager for the 3 Mobile Network; and Product Manager for Audio Products Group, looking after high-end European A/V brands such as Loewe, SIM2 and Metz.

Finally I've spent four years as a Marketing Consultant and Freelance Copywriter working with some great clients including Sony, Optus, Hilton Hotels, Dove, Intel, Colliers International and Toyota. Currently I'm also President of Publish Blue Mountains, a non-profit association promoting the region's wealth of creative talent.

Good copywriting doesn't demand experience in the subject matter however - it needs someone who can take on something new and see it with fresh eyes. As Well Worded, I love the challenge of getting to know a new client and giving them something that truly adds value to their business.
